yea lol i spent like 3 nights playing him and i wanted to make a new char, so i did and it autosaves, and i look today and all i have for the latest save on that character is a lvl 4... fml

nice, what level are you? I know the game autosaves after you enter or leave buildings, but do you know why mine might have overwritten itself with another save? I only had like 10-12 save files in the folder

I was like 70, spent hours powerleveling the different stats lol then got bored of all the side quests and stuff so completed the main storyline and a few major questlines for some of the factions.

I started a second play through but haven't gotten far in it yet.

ah haha, i didnt get that far, i just got to beating all of the thieves' guild quests, just got to the end of those quests, not exactly sure where i stood on the main quest, but i got a decent way there, then i broke off onto the thieves stuff, i did that for awhile, so thats why im not sure where i was on the main quest

Ah, I'm probably gonna get back into it at some point just to finish all the faction major quest chains. Just happened to get bored of it after putting in so many hours and kind of bored of all current games tbh. Just want Guild Wars 2 and Diablo 3 to come out already.

amen, I wish they broadened skyrim and made it bigger and open to more possibilities, and they should have made character files not save games, that was a terrible idea.

Lol I thought the game was big enough, I kind of wish it had a more dedicated story though similar to how BioWare does their single player RPGs (i.e. Dragon Age).

Having character files where you can switch from 1 char to another and have separate saves would have been nice.
