It'd probably depend on the price of the item up for auction, 25 would be reasonable I'd say, 10 is a bit low considering every previous bid was 50 except your 1

There's no real set rule, but at some point it just becomes people outbidding each other by .01 fg or whatever currency is in use, and the actual bids aren't really going up
