I stopped reading after you said nothing is worth FG, considering I've sold plenty of things...some for 150+ per item...I think you're misinformed so I decided not to finish reading your essay.

Thats too bad, because that wasn't his point. His point was that you, as buyers, should not pay whatever the seller is asking, because of the ease of creating an item with any stats you want. There is no way to determine that an item is not hacked unless you pick it up yourself. Any item in this game that looks "good" that is sold in someones shop is almost certainly hacked. I'm not going to list how, but it is ridiculously easy to do.

Most of the users that use this sub-forum play the game enough to know how to know a hack from a legit.

You're saying just because some people hack items, nobody should trade on this game? That's the dumbest logic I've ever heard in my life.
I haven't seen THAT many hacked items honestly, dunno what shops you're going into :|

Because no one would hack an item with believable stats, right? Theres nothing stopping someone from putting a high, but believable, value in the stats. Why would they do that? Maybe to convince people like you that its legit.

The ease of which you can hack items should be all the evidence you need not to spend FG on either items or mana.

I doubt it's as easy as you think it is to hack items and besides...it would be worth it to have a hacked item with legit stats...get your steam account banned for a legit stat item? yeah...doubt anyone's that big of a jew/retard

Seems to me that you and OP are just butthurt

It is that easy to hack items, actually. And if you are concerned about getting the VAC (which, tbh, you should, as the method is listed on the page of VAC no-no's (Though, would they nuke your whole account or just the DD engine?)). And yes, you hack items with high, but believable, stats, and you can make money off of that. I know these things because i've

1) spoken to hackers who fabricate items, both legit-looking and holy-fuck-this-is-ridiculous gear (for use while by yourself).
2) investigated the method used to hack items.

The sellers make their money by convincing people that their gear is legit, albeit with very high stats. Hell, if they needed to, they could have an endless supply of mana from selling slightly lower stats in pubs. However, they would never need to do that because you can create mana just as easily as typing a number into a text box. Because thats what you do. You type in the amount of mana you want and <bam!> you have that mana.

But the only real explanation is that i'm butthurt because i'm bad at this game and bitter that everyone is better than me.

glad this post is still being bumped.
Don't buy stuff from people for outrageous amounts of fg.
I'd say if you don't want trendy banned find your own items. cause no matter how you obtain an item if trendy scans and the math doesnt add up on the item. Your Trendy banned.
