Then let it be, I can spend $100.00 on whatever I choose to spend $100.00 on, you're asking me to boycott with you and not purchase a part of an update for a game that I (and others) have enjoyed for hundreds of hours.
The fact of the matter is, without a subscription based service, the business model for dungeon defenders does not support having servers (or any updates) without some sort of future income.
As I stated above, the patches are poor - and they should be tested before release. Unfortunately, it's what you pay for in an INDIE game.
This game and D2 have NO comparison.
D2, created by Blizzard, is now a multi billion dollar company.
It had a ton of money from previous projects before it's release (and if you aren't familiar with D2, it has a larger problem with hacks/bots than DD does).
