I'm taking Portuguese classes because I am required to have 2 years of foreign language at my school.
I chose it because.........well I'm not really sure. It just seemed like a cool topic to learn about, and I want to visit Brazil someday.

Okay, so...I typed up some dumb composition about an imaginary trip to Brazil I took over Thanksgiving break. I translated a few words, but definitely need guidance with the majority of it. Feel free to change anything so that it makes more sense, or suggest new ideas. This is basically just a rough outline.
"Oi! Meu nome e Cade e eu tenho 21 anos. Eu moro em Knoxville e frequento a Universidade do Tennessee. Over the Thanksgiving holidays, eu traveled to Brasil com meus amigos. My vacation was muito excitante e fantastico!"
"Primeiro, nos arrived at the airport e traveled to nosso apartamento. Here, nos comemos e bebemos. Eu comi um sanduiche e bebe cha."
"Depois, nos traveled to the beach. The water was blue and beautiful e eu loved it. Next, nos visited local gift shops e bought presents for our friends and family back home."
"Mais tarde, nos attended a Thanksgiving celebration. Here, everyone was very nice and ready to party. Nos bebemos caipirinha muito!"
"Finalement, nos dormimos. It was a vacation I will never forget e eu definitely want to visit Brasil again soon!"
I plan on adding a few more sentences in, but just want to get this basic outline down on paper. It's pretty stupid, I know. Are there any popular tourist attractions I could add in to say I visited?
*EDIT* - And...I left out all the accent marks as I didn't feel like changing my keyboard around as I typed that out. Hopefully you can understand it without though.
