You add each other on steam for 3 days and after the 3 days you can gift the money. You can use a med after the 3 days is up to transfer the FG.

Newbie Question....

Can someone explain to me why it's the standard to "wait 3 days".

Is it because after you add someone on steam, you have to wait 3 days to send them funds via friends?

Correct, 3 day waiting period to send the funds

Correct steam will not lend you send gifts(digital gift cards) to anyone, you haven't had on your FL for atleast 72 hours. You can however gift games instantly.

I always do 17.5k/100 USD if you end up wanting to do multiples.
