can I buy token w/o any gametime active or I need to have gametime first to be able to trade?

Like the person above said, you do need gametime before you can buy a token ingame. However you could instead be gifted gametime via the b.net shop directly to your email (using tokens), but for that you'd have to make a thread on the battle.net section on these forums. Also battle.net shop gametime is only offered on the shop in 60 days packs.

Better for him would be to just ask bliz support via live chat.to give him some gametime so he can check whats new if he was offline for awhile or to pick up his mails. Usually he should get from 1-3 days game time if he didnt abuse it recently to much.
