I ended at 2540 max this season. Was 100% thru random queu, no organized teams. I know I could've hit 3000 easy with a proper team.

Any tips for placement matches? I've always been unlucky and had to climb to get back up.

If anyone wants to group up casually but taking each match seriously (casual as in not committing to more than a couple hours of play necessarily), I'd like to group with anyone who is decent.

I play everything except zen, sombra, and widow. In exceptionally good groups I like going Zarya, Mercy, Rein, or Pharah. Capable on just about everything tho -- been practicing geni between seasons and capable of running him effectively (not as a stubborn main but as a tactical choice). I say that because he was my weakest character that I cared to bring into my roster of 'competitive' level play (I say competitive lightly for fear of those who are rank 4000+).

Rank 2050 right now but I'm closer to rank 2800 material on aim based gameplay (and higher on strategizing and positioning).

I climbed from low gold to masters last season. Just dont get tilted and you will get out of there

Those scenarios are few and far between anyway

Just completed placements duo on 2 accounts, both were decayed from 3500 to 3000. Got 3821 and 3740. 8/10 wins, got matched against GM and Top-500 almost every match. I don't understand this game.
