Pretty easy question since i want personal experience also. Different levels of skill on a specific character can do more than others obviously. If this is a pretty well answered questions sorry for a repeat post. Just tryna to understand the character counters a little better.

Picked Winston against genji, but good skilled genji knows how to kill/escape/being away from winston, but still genji will do his job less effectively compared if there was no winston

Not many hard counters in the game

Roadhog vs Winston
Widow vs Pharah in certain situations

Winston vs Snipers seems good but sometimes you can't actually get to them

Having a solid team comp is the most important thing, especially on defense (aside from just playing what you're good at, which is even more important)

I'm trying to learn at least 1 in each class. Im I'd say average on tracer. Still learning genji in bots and quick play but I mean mercy is an easy choice so lucio is who im thinking of going with next to learn. Tanks I havent even touched tbh. I moved from console so it took a little adjusting. Appreciate the help.

I'd definitely say the best heroes to focus on learning are soldier, rein, and Ana, since they're more or less must-picks at the moment

Ana good pick against zarya/mei
Roadhog good pick against squishies like tracer and lucio (if you can land hooks while they're moving quickly)
tracer against orisa
etc

it'd help if you ask for specific heroes you need to counter

just use pharah since they are op atm
