No offense, but the fact that you're pointing to medals is pretty solid evidence that you don't have a base understanding of how the game works. Let me give you an example. Let's say I choose reaper and I kill 4 members of the enemy team, but in doing so I had to put my team in a situation where they are in a 6v5 because I'm off by myself. My entire team gets wiped out because they're a man down while I'm setting up and then I get 4 kills before I die. Did I really help the team?
Elims/healing/etc. don't mean anything. Only objectives matter. If your role is not actually contributing to the team then you are a detriment to the team. This is why people look at pro stats and say "hey my stats are better how come I'm only silver". It's because the pro is purposely throwing their stats in certain situations to make sure the team goal is achieved. A perfect example is hook accuracy stat whores. You have these dudes running around with 80% average hook accuracy thinking they're god because most pros sit around 57-60%. What they don't realize is the stat whores are only throwing guaranteed hooks to pad their stats or flanking hooks thinking a flank pick is ALWAYS a good idea (hint hint sometimes it isn't) while pros are throwing zoning hooks and hook baits to setup alts or to force out ults.
