Is Blizzard actually stupid or what? Who in their right minds would think that releasing a patch 1 week before the season ends is a good idea? Competitive is a fucking cess pool right now. I already got diamond so I don't care that much but every damn game people just want to try the new hero or a hero that was changed. This is by far the worst ranked has ever been IMO. So annoying.

better to have it at the end of a season (when rating doesn't matter) then at the beginning. Hate for you to be placed in Silver because everyone picks Sombra and sucks with her. Have fun trying to get out.

they could just do it during the "pre-season" or w/e when its not the season yet...

New content and positive balance changes are always a good thing.

I applaud Blizzard on this new patch.

Overwatch is showing up Hearthstone, Diablo, and Starcraft, on pricing, quality of updates, and frequency of updates.

i just hope we get 3v3 competitive and i will play till the end

3v3 competitive is probably a ways away due to balance issues, and because they would need to create a host of maps.

Also, the more modes they offer, the more they risk running into a CoD problem: Having modes that take forever to find a match in. When you offer multiple competitive modes, and multiple non-competitive modes, certain modes may just not see enough play. They need to pick and choose what they offer.

With their new system, they obviously saw that problem and just put incentives into each mode. Play competitive to get golden weapons. Play arcade to get packs. Their current system works well. If they threw in a 3v3 competitive, it could be a way to expedite golden weapon acquisition.

I would be interested in seeing 3v3 competitive as well.

Yeah I was very very surprised at the change. She was already good. She could've *maybe* used a 50 life bump. But a movespeed bump while attacking, and a sizeable life bump at the same time? Wow.
