why do people keep cursing at widowmakers who go on offense?

most of the time they are worthless

but they can be good

Same reason people complain about the legendary offensive torb or bastion

I despise the offensive torb or bastion or widow... GET ON THE OBJECTIVE

Widowmakers can be really dirty on the offensive, but as previously mentioned, they usually are not

I never see the reason to go torbjörn on the offense though...

because shes only good if your god tier with her, and 99% of people aren't. Shes literally highest skill floor in the game since her nerfs its easier to play genji well. If your not head shotting 40% of your shots on widowmaker don't play her simple as that.
