played some ptr with mcree to show the left click range buff, hes pretty solid now again and i'm pretty sure he outclasses soldier now (especially after soldiers spread nerf) in every way except not having a personal heal and movement speed. I didnt ult was just trying to left click as many people as possible. Skip to 1:26

It's only PTR. They could still change Soldier to a gradual decrease rather than delayed or instant, which would still mean that short round burst stays decent.

The 4 shot burst is still just as good but the problem is after that u have to stop shooting for to long to reset the bloom, soldiers dmg isn't amazing unless it's headshots and considering what he currently counters it's not reasonable to assume you will be able to land that 4 headshots burst and kill them right away you will probably need 6 to 10. At that point mcree is way better to counter the same hero's, pharah, scopes, long range vs tanks, mercy pick offs mcree is better at all that now by far plus he's better vs tracer and genji by design, unless they change it like u said.

Yep that's what I'm saying, soldier is out of the meta unless they fix his spread recovery and make it easier to recover or they take mcree's range down a tad somewhere in between where it is and where it was. IMHO they should slightly buff his left click and his right click and leave soldier completely alone the only reason they nerfed soldier is cause people were complaining about macros but anyone half way competent could control his fire without a macro 95% as good.
