Nah, I don't agree. I've lost lots of games where we worked well together and put up a good fight, but the other team was just better. Where I felt that people knew what they were doing and the teams were matched well, but we just couldn't quite get that win.
And then there are games where from the very start you can tell you are doomed. People all running in different directions, running into the enemy team by themselves and getting slaughtered, standing outside the point and just shooting at people as they cap it, etc.
