So then, how would you rank ones ability to play in a team?

I mean if you're doing really well in solo queue doesn't that imply you're doing more for the team than anyone else?

Doing more than anyone else doesn't mean you'll win by any means
You can't carry in this game like you can in others

That's why everyone is 45-55% win rate right off the bat

Well I feel like it has been going well for me at least

Half of my games are solo queue, half with 1-3 friends, and I got a 70% win ratio after 45 games
