i like how everyone is saying the roadhog is a nerf?\

LOL have u watched or played any of the PTR?

instead of sliding around it just placed you infront of roadhog now, its a buff for sure.

They fuked it up

Genji nerf wasn't even that bad.

The 2 second reduction of his ult was needed.

The dashing over junkrats trap was a bug iirc.

The nerf of animation cancel is also justified, blizzard as said multiple times that they don't want animation canceling in this game as it forces them to balance the character around that mechanic.

The triple jump is hit and miss. Not really sure if its fair or not. Maybe it will force genji to do what he is actually supposed to do, rather than jump in the middle of the enemy team and spam shift + jump and never die.

The triple jump is a huge part of what makes him hard to hit
He wall climbs and comes off and then you don't know when he's gonna jump again, where as Hanzo just always falls.
Huge for his damage avoidance. Staying above many opponents so they can't hit him.

I think it's the biggest nerf of the 3.

Hit scan characters still hit Genji just fine

no triple jump makes him unplayable at a high level, i guarantee he won't see tournament play anymore in his current state. Plus now since u cant do the burst dmg u could your forced to just sit in the back and poke until u have ult, to compensate they should raise his melee dmg imo.

I don't think it's too bad
A lot of kills on Genji are from getting close and right click spamming even at a pro level
Definitely hurts but I think it's acceptable

Just that triple jump change is SO huge

After these changes I think the only things I'll hate in the game right now from a balance perspective...

The hitbox of Roadhog's hook (Or the functionality of pulling you around a corner. Whichever.)
The range of Reinhard's ultimate
Widow's super high skill floor

Then why is reaper's reload with melee not fixed ?

they already said they aren't fixing canceling with a melee it was intended, but canceling a melee with another skill was not. Idk makes no sense to me animation canceling is part of upper end play there is nothing wrong with it no different than wsg in diablo or bunny hopping in cs all games have these kind of tricks.
