Also jumping helps against certain heroes.
If you jump right when a Widow shoots you can stop her from hitting your head. Or against 76 jumping will make it harder for them to track your head with consistent damage.

But sometimes it's really bad like against Hanzo (he shoots hard at a much faster pace and he will just aim where you land) or Pharah (hitting the ground will still do full damage to you)

Every hero takes a while.

Pharah took me a while to get used to. McCree took me a while to get used to.

As said prior, short round bursts help for mid-long to long range combat. Use the right click rockets intelligently and with some degree of anticipation. Ground fire them in close hop combat if you can't hit body/face.

Don't just throw on his ultimate at any time unless if you know you need to. Similar to McCree, try to position so it's difficult for your opponents to run away (usually higher ground is better). Even when using his ult, try to aim for the squishy characters, don't let your ult get wasted on a tank.

yea i was on higher ground
and i had trouble killing a freaking mercy

i did shit dam cause i kept missing
i didn't know what to do

then mercy fuxing killing me with her blaster.


then in the cherrry blossom tree stage
i was in a small corridor with lucio and i tried so hard to kill him but he ended up killing me

Like every hero, more time will make you better. Keep practicing and eventually your aim will improve. Might help to mess with the sensitivity and crosshairs settings.

Not sure what advice I can give, 7 hours is enough to get a good feel for him. Maybe your sensitivity is too high?
