Junkrat is C tier only because people choose King's Row a lot
If Numbani got played the most, Torb would be C tier and DVA would be B tier

This list is not a real measure of power
It's really only a measure of what maps are played a lot, aside from Mercy who is actually OP

ok so lets just say junkrat is op on 5 maps, and on the rest of the maps hes f tier, but the pros only pick the 5 maps hes op on. Your saying in a list that ranks hero's in a tier based system based 100% on competitive play alone he shouldn't be A tier on that list?

my point is what maps they pick is as much a part of the meta as what hero's they pick, maps have changed popularity as much as team comps have, so saying someone should be another tier because a map they are good on doesn't get picked a lot, so they don't get picked a lot doesn't make sense. In the current meta, with the map banning going as it has been this is the tier list for competitive play there isn't anything wrong with the list. If all maps were picked evenly the list wouldn't change a whole lot if at all, only if certain maps were picked more often. The characters hes referencing are very situational in high level play. Especially now because Junkrat has seen substantially less play recently and the only top 5 team that played torb on the regular on defense is no longer is playing him, Dva is on the rise though. I think the next list will see torb lose even more playtime junkrat drop another tier and Dva go up a tier as well as possibly zenyatta due to defense picks with reinhardt to back him.

Correct because as soon as they pick a map that isn't one of those 5, he is no longer that tier anymore. That just makes the tier list look completely stupid.
Maps aren't a "meta" either. It's just what those teams like to play. There is no meta for maps since that is just preference. There's no "best".

All I'm saying is that this isn't really a tier list for what heroes are the best in the game.

It never claimed to be. It's only to show which characters are in and out of the current competitive meta.

i dont see the problem with the list, i mean it only shows which heroes were picked the most often on the comp scene depending on the maps they played..
even if you dont take the maps in consideration i think its still pretty legit, if you can only play a hero on 1 map, it doesnt deseve to be A rank right?
