Yes the game is worth purchasing.

My experience with it:

First 3 hours - Learning curve #1. Game seemed a little confusing. Seemed like there were too many heroes, too many abilities, and shift/right click changes with each hero so it's difficult to adapt.
Next 3 hours - Learning curve #2. The game got to be more fun, but it seemed like certain heroes were underpowered. I enjoyed playing a few different heroes. I was getting to know the maps.
Next 3 hours - Learning curve #3. I started to understand most of the heroes.
Next 3 hours & on - Idk just having fun at that point.

From what im getting its pretty fun and i was 2nd guessing myself after wtching he trailer because it looks like something you would see from like cartoon network...also when does the playstation 4 version release?

Im not positive but I think they all come out on the 24th this month.

not worth buying, if you actually do like it, you will get sick of it in no time. the game just has a lot of hype to it, it being a blizzard game and all, but its going to die down fast like Diablo 3 did, they rushed this game to much like they do with all there games. you are better off just buying TF2, that's all this game is, is a rip off of TF2

Try out Overwatch for free from a friend or relative. You'll see why there's so much hype behind it and why so many people are anticipating it.



That's what I thought too when I saw the trailer. But I got in a closed beta weekend and instantly fell in love. Then the open beta sealed the deal for me. Try it risk-free from a friend or family first before making your decision to buy.

It was unveiled at Blizzcon in 2014 and that wasnt even when the game was being created, and the beta just dropped this month so it def wasnt rushed AT ALL lmao.

Not to mention blizzard noted a day or two ago that the beta had 9.7m people play it, more then B1 and The Division betas.

Anyway, OP...like many people have iterated in this thread Overwatch is definitely worth buying, with 9.7 million people trying out the open beta that was only free to play for about a 5 day period you can guarantee that it will be very popular from day 1.

Also, if you look at the number of posts in the Overwatch subreddit of people going through Overwatch withdrawals you'll quickly be able to discern that OW is a very fun and highly addictive game.

Sounds like diablo 3, over hyped game that millions played it and loved it but the game ended up being complete trash. This game will be a repeat.
