im amped for it although currently its gonna be 90% sudden death and not really as good as it could be, but im still excited because people will take it more seriously so hopefully no more 6 zenyatta teams.

There's a lot of dev posts talking about a "time bank" approach to drastically reduce sudden death to like 5%
And they want to remove the coin flip

I agree, however I'm not going back to any other games I'm just gonna wait it out. The sudden death is gonna suck though it's gonna make like 25 percent of your matches a coin flip on if you win or lose considering how some maps are 1 sided and it will come up a lot since in competitive a huge percentage of the time the offense completes the map. But at least there will be less cancer comps I'm forced to play with.

The thought of even incorporating a concept like Sudden Death in the game's competitive mode shows the lack of foresight over at Blizzard. You aren't scoring goals in matches, you either complete the objectives or you don't. Leaving it to chance who gets to complete more objectives in a certain way is adding a frustrating randomness that over the course of a competitive season doesn't reward anyone.

Hell, when we're even going to be able to pick which maps we actually want to play? Already a month in and there's virtually no control over your playing experience despite the map diversity...
