when i played the beta, i had above 50% win rate.

now...i got like 20% :/, every single game i feel like im playing solo against a team that play together.


why cant they make a normal MM and fair system for the solo playing poor guys

seems like they took the bad heros of the storm quik search matchmaking.
less waiting time more imbalanced matches, in the beta i played as lvl 17 vs lvl 80+ and got raped hard.

It's the very start of match making. Everyone is in the same ELO range and nobody has played enough games to be placed in their proper skill level.
So you're going to see a lot of stomps.

There was no lvl 80 + in the beta

Highest i saw was 58

Not open, but closed - yes.
Closed beta had people that prestiged more than once after level 100.

yup this, had a friend at level 158.



Does anyone know how the matchmaking system even works? Is there one? How does it work in large groups?

I'm curious because after 100 games I have a 65% win rate and while sometimes I am just owning everyone....I am still getting games where it's like every player on the other team is dumpstering me so I don't really know if I am good or not.

Kinda retarded system tbh. I wish they had ranked matchmaking up.

Remember that this game is brand new
It will be at least a month before people are starting to sort into a proper scale of skill levels.

You can't expect people to just magically be placed in correct ELO as if Blizzard knows how good you are at the game before you even play it.
You and the OP seem to completely miss this concept.

I saw a lvl 90 in beta vs me

Win rate is around 65 %

It seems one of the matchmaking tactics used is if you are in a game and your team gets reamed, they will switch a player or two with the other team, and the system will continue to do that until teams balance, of course leavers can throw that off, but that has been my observation.
