I will tell you about the summoner necromancer, and how to play it pvp.
This guide was created thanks to the valuable advice of Ford300Straight, one of the best summoner necromancer on Battle.net, maybe the best.
I thank him very much for that.

You will see that with the same build, you can play both pvp and pvm, which is rather nice.
The necromancer is also very cool to play in pvp, because "everything is done automatically". Once your army is built, all you have to do is teleport yourself and send some curses. This is one of the few characters that can be played quietly.

I will first introduce a pvp build, which is very rare, is very expensive, but is very powerful.


A. Gear:


Rare diadem:

2 to necromancer skills, 20 faster cast rate, 30 faster run/walk, and socketed with cham, ber.


Rare amulet:

2 to necromancer skills, 20 faster cast rate, and 20@ res

For the same reason as before, it is important to have resistance on the amulet.
Note that mana is very important on the amulet because the necromancer consumes a lot of mana.
It takes about 50 mana to summon a skeleton, and you will need to summon about 16 Skeletons.
16 * 50 = 800 mana required to build the full army.


Wep:
Beast in an eth 15/3 double axe with perfect 40 strength.
You will not use this object.
You equip it only for the aura it brings along with bonuses to strength.

Shield:
Upped Homunculus socketed with eld rune
This gives you excellent block rate as well as res.

Armor:
Enigma Mage Plate
I like the mage plate, because it brings a decent amount of defense, with minimal requirements.

Gloves:
I used magefist for this build, because it increases the regeneration of mana, which is great.
Another possibility would be to use trang-oul gloves (30 cold res), with tri-resistance boots.


Rings:
Ring 1 * The Stone of Jordan.
Ring 2 * Fcr ring with high mana, dex or strength and 11@ res


Belt:
I used a classic arachnid mesh.


Boots:
I used Shadow Dancers, for the Fast Hit Recovery and boost to dex.
Yes, the strength is high, but with beats equipped it should be a minimal amount of points.
This is the only object that brings fhr in this build. So be careful not to make mistakes when teleporting.


Swap:
Call To Arms & 4 skeleton/mastery splendor shrunken head for battle orders and presummon, which are both important.


Charms:
20/20 torch
20/20 annihilus
7 * 1summoning 45life grand charms
2 * 1summoning 12fhr grand charms
7 * 5fhr 5@ res small charms
1 *20life 5@ res small charm

Mercenary:
In pvp, I think the best option is to use a Town Guard mercenary (act 2).
With the aura "Might", they bring you a gain of damage.

Here are the equipment that I put him:


Eth 15/3 EBOTD giant thresher. This provides you with the maximum damage/ attack speed. It is also key for equipping the armor as it provides ample amounts of +strength.

I put him a P def eth Fort shadow plate armor. The heavy armor will keep him from separating from you and your minions as fast.

As a helmet, I put him Gface socketed with a 40/15 jewel (40 enhanced damage, 15 increased attack speed). Again damage is key here as when you stomp you want to hit hard.


B. Stats:
Strength - enough for gear
Dex - enough for max block with homunculus
Vitality - the rest of your points will go here


C. Skills:
raise skeleton - max
skeleton mastery - max
bone prison - max
bone spear - max
summon resist - 1 point
revive - 1 point
clay golem - 1 point
raise skeletal mage - 1 point
Amplify damage - 1 point
Decrepify - 1 point
Iron Maiden - 1 point
1 point in corpse explosion, bone spirit, bone armor, to slightly improve bone spear damage.
Bone wall - rest here


We are not concerned with Corpse Explosion as this is not a pvm build.
