It’s funny that they chose to call it that because it’s technically bringing back a dead game back to life. I saw the Diablo portion of Blizzcon. And in my opinion, it looks like Blizzard is finally getting their heads out of their asses and stepping up their game. Finally, D2 is getting a shared stash! But, it all seems too good to be true. The fact that free trading will still be part of the game causes all kinds of problems.

But not just any problems. It’s the same problems again. Might as well call the game: “D2 Bots, Dupes, Resurrected”. Because there really is no practical method to truly get rid of hacks from this kind of game. First of all, you have a demand. Secondly, you have a player base that want to pay real life money to acquire items. Thirdly, you have programmers/businessmen that are more than willing to make money of this iteration of D2. I know the guy said that it’s on modern battle.net. However, he was downplaying the situation. I’ve read the jsp forums. It’s laughable that some are trying to justify bots. I see through their bullshit. They are people that own d2 websites that sell d2 items. They have an agenda and want to continue to profit from the game. They don’t really care about game. If you love D2, then you don’t rape the game with bots and pay 2 win websites. But will they succeed again? Absolutely! They will succeed. If you truly believe that the same people that have been bleeding the game dry for twenty years won’t bleed it for another twenty years, then you are simply delusional.

Nevertheless, the game looks really good. I’m not going to pre order. I’ll wait for it be released and see more gameplay and reviews. Another laughable aspect is the character selection screen. The fact that the people are complaining about it, is more laughable. Lmfao, they made the assassin an Asian. It’s actually a good look for her. And oh dear gawd, they made the Amazon look like a biker lesbian but with battle armor. But hey, I’d still bang her. I like females that have some mannish features. Now the Paladin looks very masculine. I like it that he looks more black. The Barb and Sorc look okay. The Druid looks like he gained fifty pounds. Maybe he been in wolf or bear form too long. The Necro looks like a pale version of Ric Flair. That is so Woooooh. I can’t will to play. It should be fun.
