I grew up a gaming nerd and also an outdoors person. I went on many adventures into the wilderness and more. Unfortunately I had an injury in my younger adult years and a lot of my hobbies came to an immediate stop. Anyway in recent times I have been able to take up some of my old hobbies.

January ~ I started Cycling again. First few days over 10 days was not really that fun. A bit painful and I had to give myself more time to recover than I was hoping for. All in all it was a good month and I felt good about the conditions of my prior injuries. I even tried going on a night hike. It was a short one and I look forward to being able to run fast or jump tall again. :)

January - February ~ I am Cycling nearly every other day now. I have been going for about 25 minutes and then give myself a rest before I head back. I have started to notice myself getting stronger and my pain going away faster. I have also taken up walking up a rather long and steep driveway on the daily. It is not something I can do in the cold weather that well so I need to take my time while I walk it.

February ~ Overall February has been a great start for exercising and I look forward to being able to enjoy life without the reminder of a major injury. That being said today was definitely a better day than all the others. I upgraded my Cycling path a bit and got back in good time. Previous injuries didn't seem to flare up when I sat down and played some games. I feel both physically and mentally good about my how my body is becoming stronger and I am able to do more things again. I will need to be careful though as I don't want to overwhelm my body as I strive for long lost freedoms.

I had a nice bike ride today. The trip total was about 5 miles. I took a rest 2 times. I did not have much pain during the trip. About 1/2 hour after returning home I felt like I had beat myself up a bit. I will have to change my exercise plans a bit this week. Overall I think it went better than I had expected .

The highlight of the trip was looking forward to it. ^_^

Hey ! Thanks! I will check this video out sometime soon :hail:

I usually listen to some speeches and more very early in the morning. If I start cycling at those hours I will try that out a few times. For now I have kept a focus on the strength and weaknesses I am discovering about my temple. This is giving me the ability to make any real time adjustments asap or as needed. For example today I started to discover the disbalance of strength in my body at a certain amount of daily exercise. I feel like this experience itself has given me a real nice drive and desire to keep at it and for the long haul of it all. :) ;) B) 💪

I suppose I have been Cycling for a couple months now. I was doing roughly 6 miles a week, and now I am up to 18 miles a week. The first month of cycling was a little tough on me. I felt good getting around and exercising but I did manage to mess up an old shoulder injury. After about 2 weeks of taking it a little easier and cycling less miles my shoulder has recovered a bit, but I still have pain when at home, at the computer, etc. My heart rate seems to be doing better than it was and I recently started to shift my bike into higher gears. This is exciting for me because I live a few miles from the beach. ^_^

Nowadays I look forward to cycling and the earlier in the morning I can go do that the better.

I have toned down my cycling habits, as the weather calls for outdoor work to be done and my shoulder seems to need a bit of repair. My original plan to start and continue cycling again was to get an in home cycling machine, or indoor cycling attachments for my bikes. I may have to reconsider that as my best cycling options, and maybe take something like swimming as an overall low impact and lightweight exercise. Heart rate is doing well, along with the increased appetite, previous knee injury, and more.

All in all cycling was a good experience for me and I am happy to be able to hit some miles at nearly any time of the day again.

This last 7 days I put in about 16-18 miles of cycling in. I took it much easier than how I had been cycling. The first outing of the week resulted in some minor shoulder pain but in all it went well. A couple outings later I started to have some new/old problems though...My hard hearing ear started to bleed. 2 outings later my ear and part of my face the size of my hand is rather uncomfortable. I also woke up with my eye on that side of my face completely bloodshot. I am setting up an appointment today or tomorrow to get it checked out ( again.. ) and between that time I will have to decide if continue to cycle is currently a good or bad activity for me.

Anyway... I feel like crap and just got in from a wonderful morning cycling.... While no pain no gain I am a bit at an unease.. but I will hope for the best results as they become closer to reality and something found in time.
