I mastered the Barbarian and Demon Hunter on Diablo 3. Just like I mastered the Druid and Amazon on Diablo 2. It took many years for me to perfect all of those characters. I became OP and the best on all of them. I was even at the top of the hardcore ladder and leader board just to show off. There was a time when I felt I was the greatest hardcore ladder player on US East but those days are long gone for sure.

I'm actually going to make a Crusader on Diablo 3. I don't know anything about that class. I played it very briefly when it first came out and that's all. It should be interesting and fun to see if I can master another character. I'll probably play the campaign mode on the PC. I want to solo on the easiest difficulty slider early on without using the adventure mode. No shortcuts for me. Maybe even blog about it on here from time to time but I won't play it too much. It depends how I feel. I've been dealing with a left knee injury since November so my PC gaming is definitely limited right now.

First step is I need to figure out a name for my female Crusader. I want something that's smooth and catchy.
My goal for today and the weekend is to create my Crusader and try to complete the entire Act 1. Game on!

Callisto

The name I had chosen for my female Crusader was Callisto played by Hudson Leick in the classic series Xena: Warrior Princess.

She just looks like a Callisto to me. I had another good name but I felt it was more appropriate for the Monk class. I didn't play very much on Friday Night but I did reach level 6, while saving Deckard Cain, and I geared up with all blue items minus the amulet and two rings. Next up I'll try to hit level 10 to 15 and find some yellow items. If not my first legendary item which will be Leoric's Crown if I'm not mistaken.

I really have no clue how to play a Crusader. All I know is the best end-game set is the newer one: Aegis of Valor
I've been soloing on the normal campaign mode. I'll probably have to go to hard soon. Otherwise I'll level too slow.
But honestly, I'm just doing a Crusader play through for fun and giggles. I'm not really taking it seriously or anything.

A funny thought I had while playing was remembering AOL Online (dial up Internet) that I used from 1996-2002. Those were the days! I somehow managed to play two years of Diablo 2 on a dial up connection. Every time somebody called my house phone (landline) it knocked me out of the game. Even one time I had killed Diablo and was about to pick up some sweet loot (multiple uniques) and the game dropped. LOL. I'm just glad Diablo 3 plays smoothly compared to those days. And I haven't taken a landline call since 2010 or so. When I had gotten my first iPhone 4. Everything is through my smartphone as we head into 2020. I went an entire decade without a house call. That seems strange looking back.
