Instead of constantly replying to PMs regarding claws, I decided to just consolidate information here. A second thread will be made regarding Ghosts claws. This threads goal, is for people to understand what type of claw they are looking for when building a hybrid sin as well as a guide for people that find claws, to determine if their claw is actually useful.
First, it is reasonable to start at explaining what a hybrid sin is. A Hybrid sin uses traps for damage (generally maxs LS and all synergies), but also has a chaos claw and a fools claw to use WW. They generally achieve 7.5k-10k LS damage, heavily dependent on gear and character level, as well as around 3000-4000 (4000 will only be achieved with top end gear, or if you mass prebuff venom) max WW damage, with Venom.
Regarding what a hybrid sin looks for in a claw, we will first start off with base stats required. Generally speaking, the following is required for a hybrid sin claw:
2 Assassin Skills
3 Lightning Sentry
Fools Mod (AR & Max damage per level)
To further enhance the usefulness of the claw, the following stats are desirable:
Increased Attack Speed
Enhanced Damage
Ethereal (If ethereal, must have eth rep)
Durability Replenish
2 Sockets (only possible if Enhanced damage is not found on the claw, due to Fools Mod, Assassin skills, Enhanced Damage, and 2 sockets all being prefixes. You can only get up to 3 prefixes on a rare item.)
Below are examples of "Best in class" claws. These are real claws that I actually own. Beast Scratch, under 70% of circumstances, is the best hybrid sin claw on all realms. Ghoul Razor Runic, is the best claw in the remaining 30% of circumstances. The below claws will cost in the 100-150k fg range.

Many of you will be curious, why the best hybrid claws, aren't war fists, even though war fists offer more damage. The reason being is because you want your fools claw, which is the claw that will hit the most due to the massive AR on it, to be in your main hand. Because of WW mechanics, your main hand claw will be the claw that will actually "Swing" in the WW animation the most. Also, due to WSM glitch, you can use fast bases like feral or runic, to achieve max trap speed. Feral will require you to use highlords while Runic will not need any IAS from other sources to hit max trap speed.
To achieve the needed WSM glitch, you will use a Feral or Runic Fools claw with 30+ IAS over your boots, and a suwayyah chaos, over your gloves. Further explanation into WSM glitch is in this link:
http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=56809861&f=87&o=0While Using a Feral or Runic Chaos in main hand and a suwayyah or war fist fools claw will work, it wil not be as effective, due to your fools not being in the "main hand".
Now we will discuss what middle of the road hybrid claws look like.
A middle of the road hybrid claw will generally have the following stats (will cost 1500-3000 on NL depending on claw base. Runic and Greater Talons will be in the 3k range, Feral will be around 2k, and suwayyah/scissors suwayyah/ war fist will be in the 1500-1750 range.):
2 Sin Skills
Fools Mod
3 Lightning Sentry
30+ IAS
Claw Base being either Feral Claw, Runic talons, or Greater Talons (runic talons and greater talons have same base IAS. But if the claw doesn't roll with Enahnced damage on it, the difference between the damage on a Runic and Greater talon is extremely minimal. I suggest if you find or have a Greater Talon without Enhanced Damage, to not up it into a Runic talon. All you are effectively doing is making the DEX req go from 79 on Greater Talons, to 115 on Runic Talons.)
You might find a middle of the road hybrid claw with extra useful staff mods such as Mind Blast, Weapon Block, Blade Shield, and a low amount of enhanced damage. This middle of the road claw can also be effective if it is a suwayyah, scissors suwayyah, or war fist. Most other claw bases outside of the ones listed aren't all that useable, such as battle cestus or Wrist Sword, due to their base IAS, it makes them incredibly hard to utilize WSM and achieve max trap speed.
A basic hybrid claw will generally have the following stats (will cost 1000-2000 on NL):
2 sin
fools mod
3 lightning sentry
Claw Base: Runic or Greater Talons or feral claw
It must be in the above bases, as these are the only bases that don't require an IAS jewel in them to hit max WW BP, without any IAS actually rolled onto the claw. If you have one of these basic hybrid claws, you will also need to use a Runic or Greater Talon chaos in your main hand, and either highlords or a 15ias jewel in your helm, to achieve max trap laying speed. However, under this scenario, you will not utilize the WSM glitch or mechanics.
An even more basic hybrid claw will be a magic claw called Fools Greater Talons of Quickness. This will be larzuk'd for up to 2 sockets, being that it is a magical claw. You also want it to have +3 LS. The finished product of this magic claw will be (costs around 500-1000fg on NL):
Fools Mod
40 Ias
3 Lightning Sentry
2 sockets
Um+Um in sockets.
In all hybrid claws, you want their to be an open socket for Um Rune. Open Wounds is a primary driver of your WW damage, especially when your claw doesn't have enhanced damage on it.
For Hybrids, a non ethereal claw, will beat an ethereal claw, unless the ethereal claw has eth rep.
You can see my profile for links to explanations on Ghosts claws and Chaos Claws as well.
