Season 15 for Diablo 3 on the PC starts tomorrow night. I'm excited to play it because I recently returned to Diablo 3 after not playing it for three years (since October 2015), and I only have two seasonal stash tab rewards out of the four maximum amounts that I can obtain.

My main goal is to earn my third seasonal stash tab this season. I think I can do it but we'll see.
The main stumbling block will probably be passing a set dungeon. I'm not experienced with them.
I've only passed one set dungeon before and that was the Immortal King set dungeon for the Barbarian.

I also plan to play a Demon Hunter for the first time. In the past I mostly played a whirlwind barbarian so the difference in play style is going to be a big shock to me. So needless to say I'll have some learning to do. I'm only going to play for an hour each day and maybe two hours during the weekend. Whenever I have some free time. I don't really think I'll be able to play a lot during Season 15 (slow and steady wins the race), but it may be fun if I can give a quick blog entry on how I'm progressing.

And I mostly solo when I play Diablo 3. It would be nice if I could find a group to play with. But this Season 15 journey with my Demon Hunter will be just for pure entertainment. I'm too old to take any video game seriously. At this point in my life I'm only a casual gamer, but I'm sure there's going to be some self motivation that develops inside of my heart at some point along the way. A battle-tested Diablo player like me doesn't just go down without a fight.

I'm going to name my female Demon Hunter, Katniss.
In honor of Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games.

It's only been two days since Season 15 started on Friday Night but I dove right in. I've got to work hard for everything I have because I don't have a group to carry me. Since it was the weekend I actually played for a few extra hours and not one or two. Just to give myself a good head start because I know I won't be able to play as much during the busy weekdays.

I was able to reach level 70 on my Demon Hunter to go along with 80 paragon points so far. I'm very pleased that I finally have my full Unhallowed Essence set from the Haedrig's Gift. I still need to piece together a better bow and quiver. I dish out enough damage for now though. A dream scenario would be if I find an ancient Yang's Recurve (bow) and Dead Man's Legacy (quiver).

It's going to be a while until I'm able to find some primal ancient gear. I can't do that just yet. My amulet and rings aren't ideal to say the least but I'll find a way to make it work. And my Konai's Cube is a bit bare at the moment. Like I said it's early in the season and all I've done so far is put myself in a position to improve as this season progresses.

I'm working on leveling up my legendary gems. That's going to take me a little more time as well.

The toughest part for me will be passing a set dungeon for the Demon Hunter, but I have time to figure that out. The Embodiment of the Marauder set will likely offer the easiest set dungeon but I don't have all the pieces right now. Also I want to eventually complete the "Thrill" Conquest: Solo a level 45 greater rift with no set items on.

My next mini goal will likely be to reach 100 paragon points: And 200, 300, 400, 500 and so on...
If I can pump out some paragon points then finishing my chapter objectives will feel a lot easier.

I'll have three months to obtain my third seasonal stash tab reward. If I play hard during the weekends I'm confident enough that I can do it. There will be times that I can play hard and make a strong push towards my in-game goals during Season 15, but over the long haul I'll continue to have a patient and methodical approach.

The main thing is that I enjoy playing Diablo 3. I may buy D3 on the Nintendo Switch in November.
It's all about having fun. Peace, love and happiness. Take care everybody and I'll see you next time.
