I love League of Legends. Not because it's the most popular game in the world, but how competitive it is and the huge amount of skill and intelligence it takes to be great. Like most players, I want to hit a high rank. The highest I've ever reached was Gold 3 in season 6, which was my first season. Lately I've put so much time into it. Whether it be playing the game, watching pro games, or just watching random LoL stuff on YouTube. On the bus to school, sometimes even in school when I have nothing else to do. I want to be a great mid laner as I think that's where I will shine the most. I believe myself to have okay mechanics and would rather not have a support in my lane who I may potentially get frustrated with.
To get good I must practice things that pro players and mid laners do. What are some of these things that pro players do?
Farming CSI read a good post on reddit about farming and how important it is. Here is a quote from the post:

Pro level players get about 10 CS/minute regularly (note this is only possible after 11:00 unless you farm jungle or other lanes). If they can get 10 CS/minute in pro games with their jobs on the line, and you can't manage to do it without this pressure, then how can you expect yourself to carry yourself very high up the ladder? If you're determined to improve, then surely you can spend 5 minutes every once in awhile improving your fundamentals. There is no excuse not to if you truly want to improve.
This is the first thing I need to improve on. Before doing anything else I have to make sure my farm game is on point. The author made up some exercises that I am going to practice everyday before I start playing League. They are 5 minute practices, so I will do it at least 3 times a day. Before that, I will record an average cs count of my games that I play this weekend. I will do these exercises at least 3x a day for 2 weeks straight, maybe more. I will post results and see how much I've improved. Since I've read most people saying to focus on one aspect to improve at a time, this will be the first thing. After 2+ weeks of CS training I will move on.
I will post my average farm per game and start doing the farming exercises on Monday.
