Late last night, I found out that Joe, one of the friends I had made in jsp, had passed away.
http://forums.d2jsp.org/user.php?i=1086428In an environment where distrust is the first reaction to new people, he was unusually caring, and extremely easy to rely on and get familiar with.
I remember that the first time I met him, back in April this year, he noticed I was from Argentina and asked quite a bit of questions about it. He has been in my friend list since.
He was a very funny guy to be around with, and tended to have a kind word for everybody. Even in the times he had problems, he managed to reflect an optimistic and cheerful image.
The last news we had from him was that he was having a good time practising motocross, one of his hobbies, and that is the memory I choose to keep with me.
Joe, if you are still out there, "somewhere beyond that rift in the uniform weave of the matrix", I hope that you are having a good time, and I know that you are a making it a better place already.
Cheers
Pablo
