As for the government it is still illegal
It is considered schedule 1
(Schedule 1 is considered( the most dangerous and addictive)

The reason it became illegal was due to a major lumber company fearing losses.
this part is fed up..... the law when introduced was considered a catch 22
In order for it to be legal you had to go to a place(weed in hand) and pay a tax stamp for the bag to be legal.
the first man who tryed to do the right thing was arrested at the spot trying to get the stamp so he could follow the law the reason he was arrested is he did not have a stamp..... the dude was trying to the right thing

Here are my thoughts on the biggest pros

Limitles Renewable energy from hemp seed oil

Will slow down global warming by producing more oxygen removing our emissions

Weed could become America's largest export in just a matter of a few years
National debt could go down!

the big one for me is this

Notebook paper could be made (hemp paper has a huge half life) Egyptians used it and very old artwork is still around
The declaration of independence and constitution are on hemp paper
Which is why they are still in great Condition.

Christopher Columbus sailed to America in a boat that had hemp rope as sails

you can make toilet paper rather than having to wipe. Your ass with dead rainforest

Sadly the cure for cancer could have been destroyed from deforestation

you could make shoes from it to donate to 3rd world countries even


Around 80% of illegal drugs that come to America is weed

Think about this....
drug cartels in Mexico would lose so much revenue and there would be less killing over it.

to me weed is a forsaken drug that has soon many medicinal applications

Helps cancer treatments become much more effective
Helps them not have abdominal pain so they can eat.

Insomnia (I have suffered with it since my youth)
I would smoke 2 hits from a pipe and fall asleep in 5 min)
More importantly I would stay asleep

Since I gave it up I have terrible sleeping problems

I have to turn to prescription drugs just to sleep.

are we so stupid to realize it did not work for booze

0 fatalitys from weed
Peanuts kill 50+people a year
Booze limits your reaction time way more than weed imo
Booze can kill you
Booze can destroy your liver
Booze can give you hepatitis
Boise is addictive
hang overs Suck
Booze is legal


This one may twist your brain a little
People try to keep endangered species alive right?

Are we trying to make a plant extinct?
We sure do love trees why not medicinal bushes?
that is possibly the game changer right under our nose?

Since Colorado legalized It
The state is bringing in millions that could be pumped into schools, road repairs, bridges, hospitals,....you name it.

On another note
You always see polls asking this...
should weed be legal in all 50 states?
Or still be illegal at the government level??
