I am starting this challenge as I have failed to stay healthy. This blog/challenge has some sorrow intertwined with humor. This post will be the sorrow part but I will try to make my other posts more amusing. I weighed about 155 lbs back in July of 2015, and now I weigh 197 lbs. The reason I gained so much is my Dad died this month and I lost my job to care for him. Everything started to go wrong in July of this year as he was diagnosed with cancer. I got fat because of depression, being jobless and caring for my Dad till he passed. I am starting this challenge for two reasons, number one my Dad told me he never wanted me fat, and inactive, as he was always in shape and a workaholic. Second I am a rock climber and caver or I was back in July, and I need to get back into shape so I can continue doing what I love doing. My Dad probably would not want me to be moping around doing nothing and eating sweets and pizza everyday. My Dad was never fat and neither should I be. I am going to once a month be doing the fire fitness test, which consist of running one and a half miles, pull-ups, push-ups, and sit-ups. The pull-ups, push-ups, and sit-ups must be done in less than 3 minutes each. My starting stats suck but hopefully I will stay on track and complete my goals. I will put those stats below. Pm of post info that you might have that can help me not fail my challenge, and thank you for listening. Here are my goals and stats today.
