Avoid the tl;dr if you're just bored reading, this is gonna be a hardcore dear diary blog.
I have had hardcore confidence issues growing up, but have mostly grown out of that.
However, I usually slouched and stayed out of attention as much as possible. My hobbies were gaming, school work, playing instruments. All of these made it pretty easy to slouch and I never really thought about it.
I'm fairly confident now, but somehow just realized how incredibly awful my posture is.
Another contributing factor is that I exercise my abs A LOT (in comparison to other muscles). Upon reading up about poor posture, I learned that this is a bad idea.
To make a long story short, my upper back and shoulder muscles are weak and it further pulls me into a slouching position. This specific cause will be addressed through exercise.
My goal is to change something very drastic at age 23, and obviously that thing is my posture.
I will be actively putting my chin down and shoulders set and holding it as much as I can stand when walking and doing physical/social activities.
Obviously I will need rest from this sometimes to avoid getting injured and having a hard time at work from fatigue.
Since I don't want to gun it and over exert my muscles, I am going to have some periods where I revert to my comfortable bad posture.
Pics might come of my bad posture now in both relaxed positions and my "exercise" position.
But I may or may not post pics until I am feeling more pleased with my results

Ultimately I just want to update this to keep myself reminded and on track.
Sorry for the probably poorly written tl;dr, this was a high discovery. But I'm gonna stick to it! Which is hopefully what this blog will help with.
