I shall leave this world for now and return when my hair is wavy and long and I have experienced the world like a newborn experiences the mother's teat for the first time(end shitty anime reference). 'Tis about time I grew up and took charge of things and get in motion. I also really hate this english language to which I have become accustomed to is a sinful bastard language that should be shot yonder the barn.

As some of you may know (my close internet associates) I have become entrenched in the German language and it's culture, and must say it is somewhat of a proverbial blast to the past, it echoes so much of what our un-fair language used to be, albeit notwithstanding the high german consonant shift... it is closest in grammar and lexicon to the proto language our ancestors once spoke, they say dutch is more conservative of the west germanics, though I tend to believe the rapidly dying Low German aka Saxon is to be the true heir... which is also perhaps the mother language of english in the first place, it seems to share many vocabulary paralells. Though dutch, west frisian, and low german may in fact be closer to the root language, I prefer high german due to preserving the case system(most of it), as archaic as that sounds.

I find the declensions beautiful and kind of an art so to speak, I have already greatly memorized all of the adjective declensions, and the prepositions which change the case of the subject (e.g. für makes the subject accusative, in when motion is inferred is accuscative, in a temporal sense it becomes dative, etc), oh and the declension paradigms as well (Strong, weak, mixed)... But otherwise my spoken level is very limited, as per my shitty thread in the deutsch forum a while back, this( http://www.expath.de/expath-german-language-placement-test/) website says I'm like b1 level in the language, which is about 70%, that's pretty nice for having come this far by myself I suppose, but if you want to speak on the street the common people you need to know the spoken vernacular as well... so yeah I need to find someone I can speak with who has patience so I can develop better.

One day I'd like to learn dutch, which is kinda weird and the pronounciation is allover the place I'd heard (shouldn't judge from hearsay though, best to experience something for one's self). I chilled on the low german wikipedia a few times and read some random articles, and surprisingly I can read a great deal of what is being said.... Albeit sometimes it's hard to make out the cognates because of the HGCS(henceforth high german consonant shift), or the different use of words, like 'snacken' for to 'to speak'.. Honestly wish more people spoke it so knowledge could become more availible, some say it is dying a slow death right about now, which once enjoyed the famous seat of the hanseatic league, has now become a shadow of itself, the language never being codified(almost) and the dialectual split not helping things either... I myself prefer northern low german because of certain features it has to it.

Anyways, this rant is mainly for myself because I just felt like talking to myself for a while now and just ranting endlessly about something I've gained an interest into, not that anyone cares nor do I expect them to.

Tl;dr

I've found something I'm truly interested into and hoping to master it one day, perhaps soon at least in the standard written form, to be able to read it at first.

Honestly I'll probably be hovering through bouts of concuisness on d2 so whoever truly knows me can reach me there........... Going to cut myself out of this site for some time though, I love it truth be told, but it's a distraction for me.. blah blah blah dasdasfafsafs
