Sweeped the lawn for dad yesterday. Lots of apples and leaves had built up. Of course i don't remember to bring gloves on a one-time job. It also turned out to be more than i expected, lots of sweeping. So of course i get a blister on the lower part of my thumb. Or i guess it's not a blister, but skin rubbed off and flesh exposed.
So when i use anti-bacteria spray, it stings ^^ I guess that's just proof of it working.
Man i remember too, looong time ago, i forgot my gloves one day we were going to mason concrete blocks the entire day. I cut holes in my sweater to fit the thumbs through, that helped a bit. But my hands were friggin raw at the end of the day ^^ Painful.
Now i've got a pork leg "hocks" (is that the word?) in the oven, since i'm "eating my way through the freezer" ^^ It kind of looks like an enlarged version of my thumb at the moment xD
