Have been exercising in water for over 1.5 years now. The reason for this was many, but mainly because of extreme lower back pain and general overweight and bad health. Now i've actually been disciplined, and 90% of the back pain is gone, while i have much more strength and can do general things with ease. Water exercise is really something i recommend for anyone that is overweight. Or anyone in general.

Now, the time has come to implement discipline in the way of food. In the time i've been exercising, i have still eaten just about whatever i wanted, this has been for motivation to keep myself wanting to exercise. Not making things too difficult and risk losing motivation. I would not say i have overeaten to the extent of extreme amounts. But i have eaten enough to be very full almost every meal... and most of the meals have been excessive.

There was a period back in 2018, when i got some very life changing news, where i felt inspired enough to do this experiment. I dropped from 110 kg / 242.5 pounds, down to 96 kg / 211.6 pounds in 3 months, that was almost without exercise too, simply from careful portion control. I made almost the same kind of food i always eat .. but simply ate less and was very careful with portion control.

Now i will write every meal in this thread, with time stamps, as maybe weekly updates. And also weight updates if i feel inspired enough to do so. Starting today.

Okay so i finally lost motivation to write down every food intake. I have for two weeks after the last post, but won't bother posting it.

But generally i am eating less, and more often. I am not as strict as i was in the beginning, but i am losing weight. Now i am down to 107.5 kg. Meaning in five weeks, i have lost five and a half kg, so that's a normal process.


I am not under any illusion that the weight drop will lessen and it will become more difficult, but my aim is to keep a balanced diet, one can eat just about anything one wants, but just 1 or 2, not 3 or more than that. Often, one just wants the taste of whatever it is one is craving, and that is okay, as long as one stops with that one or two bites. We don't -need- all that excess food. It is really unnecessary.
