Finally started playing a bit this season, and finally hit 400 Warrior wins. Probably should have happened a couple weeks ago, but better late than never.

I got bored so I crafted this. Still not really able to play this season though because of school. This season might just be a wash, but I was pretty burnt out so it's not the worst thing. I've been playing to take care of my dailies and keep on eye on the meta after LoE release. I personally think Control Warrior will be unaffected by Reno Jackson decks since CW has so many late-game threats and very rarely plays greedily to set up for lethal.

Still no time to play. I'm going to try to climb a bit over Thanksgiving break. Hopefully I can at least get rank 5 for the golden epic card in the chest. I've been sort of keeping up with the meta, it seems like the only cards that are getting play from the new expansions are Reno Jackson in gimmicky decks and a couple of the discover cards. The decks that use the new decks that I'm aware of are Zoo Lock and Shaman, which aren't great match-ups for Control Warrior, but I don't think the new cards make them any worse. The Reno Jackson decks should be easy for Control Warrior since we don't play aggressively anyway. I don't mind games going to fatigue.

So school's over for me so I guess I'm going back on the grind. Here's what I got from my rank 15 (lol) chest.

Unfortunately it seems like Control Warrior has really taken a hit in the rankings over the last couple of seasons. It was an upper tier 2 deck and now it's the bottom of tier 2, which is basically tier 3. However, Patron Warrior is upper tier 2, so I made a patron deck and I might give that a shot. But for right now, as I'm just getting back into the swing of things I'm playing a Hybrid Midrange/Secret Paladin deck. It's doing a lot better than Control is, that's for sure. But once I catch up to the current meta I think the plan is going to be to continue with getting Golden Warrior, and after that I don't know. I still have my Demon Handlock deck but that isn't very strong for ladder climbing, I would just want to learn how to play it. So after warrior maybe Paladin, maybe Druid, maybe Rogue even.

Hit 420 wins. It's been going pretty slowly, I've only played 30 warrior games this season, and less than 50 ranked games overall, but it's still going. I was going to try to hit 500 wins before New Years but I'm finding it hard to grind this game right now.






/e Also, my network adapter broke so I'm using an old shitty one which makes it annoying to play because there's so much lag. I ordered a new one so hopefully when it arrives I will be playing a lot more.

So I have about 2 days left in this season, maybe I can get to rank 8 or so. I think 5 is a bit ambitious for me but it's the end of the season, so who knows.

I think I'm going to just take a break from control warrior right now. I can barely keep above a 50% winrate, I'm 28-25 right now. So I'm going to play midrange druid. I started off going 8-1 but now I'm 12-6. But a 67% winrate isn't bat at all.

This is the deck I'm using. I kind of want to squeeze a Harrison Jones in there because of how popular paladin is, and because hunter is one of my worst matchups, but I dunno what to cut. I like having 2 Azure Drakes a lot but it might have to be one of them.

Started off the day with 8-1, ended with 23-17, but I know I wasn't playing with 100% focus. I'd like to bring this 58% winrate to above 60% and keep it there. Hopefully there's still lots of Paladins on this ladder, I'm 78% against them.

Went from rank 19 to rank 16, my goal for tomorrow is rank 12.

Last night I ended up playing to rank 14, and then today I got rank 12 like I planned. It's nice to actually stay on my ladder climbing schedule. Still just playing Midrange Druid. Hit 69 wins. I played a few games where I was able to get turn 1 Emperor Thaurrisan down and it's amazing. Still 61% winrate going 41-26 this season.
