So. The transfer-in ceremony ended just minutes ago and the 2018 nendo Student Council President is...
Yuzumi ShintaniAs predicted after giving the souji in graduation ceremony 1,5 months ago. Still, it was a really big surprise since Maaya and Marin both are seniors to Yuzumi. First time in the history of Sakura Gakuin has someone less senior named to be the SCP. The decision clearly shocked Maaya who couldn't help to prevent tears. Anyway, I believe that this will be a great nendo and Yuzumi will do fantastic job as a president (also Maanyan will surely be fine with Yuzumi after the initial shock). Just feeling a little sorry for Maaya.
Sakura Gakuin's 8th student council president - Yuzumi Shintani
Maaya Asou got named to Talk Chairperson

Other Student Council members were:
Soyoka Yoshida - Education Chairperson
Kano Fujihira - Performance Chairperson
Marin Hidaka - Hamidasei Chairperson
How about the transfer-ins? There were 3 in total as expected. 2* junior high school 1st grader and 1* elementary school 5th grader. Here they are, time to start learning the names!
Kokona Nonaka - junior high 1st grade
Sana Shiratori - junior high 1st grade
Yume Nozaki - elementary 5th grade

Overall I gotta admit that this year's show was probably the best transfer-in ceremony they have ever had. New members seemed somewhat relaxed and song selection was really good. If there was one thing I could change it definitely would have been the president naming controversy (aka how it was presented. I appreciate that these decisions are real and not pretold to the members but something should have been changed) but that's Sakura Gakuin's staff's problem - not the girls.
On the business side... The show was aired live on Freshlive without a change for archived views so there are no places where you could watch it currently. Sakura Gakuin never really released the transfer-in ceremonies (besides some bonus content) so if you wish to see the ceremony you'll have to wait for someone who captured the show from live stream (not gonna be an easy task - believe me). I think the show wasn't too expensive with cost of ~$20 especially how hard it is to find afterwards. It's nice to see Amuse finally also opens up these live viewings outside Japan. Might be wishful thinking but if Amuse ever releases a bluray I would buy it without a doubt.
