Haven't given any updates lately so here it is.
My youngest and that little girl snuck outside again and hide in my pole barn. Everyone looked for them. I ended up calling the police. I found them as police were pulling up and the little girl started balling and my son was smiling like he thought it was funny. The officer talked to the kids about how worried everyone was and not to do it again. CPS pulled in right behind them and they are going to get me those alarms I wanted.
backtracking in my story a little bit.....When I found the kids, I was in this field behind my house screaming for them and I heard a faint voice. It was then I realized they were in the barn. I open the door to the barn, and I heard a scuffle. I called out for them, and they didn't answer so I turned off the lights. Then my son says "hey I can't see". I flick the lights back on and go upstairs, because that's where the voice came from. I'm like "busted! get your little butts out here now". They come crawling out from under a built in shelve behind a bunch of boxes in the corner with snacks. Little ones were hiding to eat snacks because they are only allowed one sometimes two a day. Otherwise, my son will eat everything in the same day and the other kids will cry about not getting any.
On a different note, he started kindergarten three days ago and I didn't get a call from his teacher until today. Apparently, he spit in a kids face. The teacher said he was very remorseful and cried about how he was sorry. My thing is, was he sorry or just sorry he got in trouble? Hopefully he at least learned not to do that anymore. I had to sign paperwork over the incident. Something that became all too frequent when he was in daycare. Let us pray that won't be the case at school.
