Hey I would like some help in killing 4 corners, if there is anyone who needs this or just for the ep drops feel free to join and take it out I'll go cook dinner, grp is up lvl 59 samurai

What exactly prompts the 4 corners quest? How does it work / what happens?

well first you'd need it active, to get it active you would have needed to complete a reasonable amount of other quests,

then it's a case of walking into each corner on the same map, but the corner mobs and like super duper ep's
first corner has 1x ep,
2nd corner 2x eps
3rd corner 3x
4th corner 4x

the more players in the group, the harder this is as well

Also usually when you have 2 or more one tends to be a healer making it extra difficult to kill them…..but they often drop good stuff

i've been in MM's and killed a reasonable amount of them, never had a good drop, usually not even very high tier stuff either, although this was mostly done the old way which no longer works.

Personally think their drops are worse than standard eps

yea I killed the first 3 but the 4th was impossible with my gear, noone came so I just bailed, but the drops from the first 3 were like from standard ep's so it's not worth killing for the drops

might be worth getting for a death farmer since the +1 ability point could come in handy depending on the abilities used

Thanks for all the info. So to activate it (have it show up in objectives) you have to have done a large number of other quests? (I don't think I've ever seen it as active)

I think you need:

pinch of evil
bits and pieces
hack the horde
treasure pest
soften the sneaky shell
ambush!

the problem seems to be that there are 3 objective slots, but some of them can't spawn solo:

face the evil
stop the seven shamans
slash the swarm

you need to not use easy mode for hack the horde to spawn, sneaky you can only kill by casting

I think if you're climbing to mq it's no point worrying about objectives, the reason I had so many done is I was trying deathfarming
