Just clarifying I understand how abilities work. Does the % of the ability as you level it mean it has that much chance of gaining charge? For example 3 points in an on class skill is 48%; so does this mean about half of the correlating action (on weapon/cast/hit taken etc) will add a set amount of charge?

And if that's the case, does every ability have its own set charge % it increases on each successful charge, like always 0 to 8%, 8 to 16% etc.

Finally, as it's charging to be used, what exactly does that % indicate? Like if you use an ability at 25%, is it adding 25% of your damage on top of your existing damage so in actuality it would be 125% total damage? That would mean a 200% charge is actually 300% total damage?

The charge up rate of an ability is based on how it charges up. (I am not good at explaining it)
EDIT: i.e Charges up with Hits Taken or On Hit etc

BUT, this does NOT effect the % you get from the Ability restriction(s): example;

First (1) point to Class Ability = 20% chance to charge up
First (1) point to off Class Ability = 10% chance to charge up
First (1) point to Unlocked Class = 6% chance to charge up.

When using your ability... really depends on what is comfortable for you and the EE of your gear.

I use my Charges around 66-75% ... at times they get higher or as low as 50%... I suggest never using your abilities under 50% charged up.
