I have not played in some time how does one aquire maps like this? or at least high lvl ones?

Complete the maze, higher level = higher maps

could i stay on a small map say at lvl 5 and lvl up to like 40 etc and it give high lvl ones or no?
I feel like a noob again aha. afk for 2 years lol.
