They left because there most likely was no possible chance for success -- it is better to dump a possible death-game and try again later with better gear or different group.
As well -- I have a strong feeling that at lvl 17 you were not impressing your playing partners overly much with whatever you were showing as damage.

This charm is doing nothing for you in the Acc slot, as EE is the only mod that works in this slot
If anything, this charm should be in your main charm slot to let the Str and CS augment your dmg.
