been death farming and doing 4 corners on barb but wondering what's best strategy for gear/drops.

been using high ee weapon for dmg and kill speed while exploring with 8ML arm and 8mL charm, then swap to high ee arm and str charm when get to an ep/corner to grind them down faster before swap back to ml gears for last few hits and kill. Also swap to regen gear in town after deaths and losing xp to not lvl....

is it better to just use dmg weapon and ml arm/charm and not swap back and forth, just use high dmg/defense gear and forget ml, or keep doing what im doing and swap gears?
-also, does the amount of times i return to town while fighting ep wave affect final drop?

if it is just death farming you are doing run round with ML on constantly forget about the EE armor and str charm

agree, just run around using the ML gear. i wouldnt even remotely consider the ee armor as to some extent you want to take some damage to get to death farming range faster.
Strength charm is an interesting argument of whats better: killing lots of mobs or killing less mobs but with more ML
The general consensus for finding stuff is to use ML, as there's a belief among a lot of us that the longer you take to kill stuff the better the drops tend to be.

I like this theory of the longer it takes the better the drop… me personally I try my best to get a ee wep with ml… I personally hate swapping cause I’m always running around with 40 glyph/mute items and have to swap into ees gear it gets annoying … as for what ml is concidered good I’m not sure I would assume 25+ is gonna b good

I would HIGHLY advise against hunting for this item as only a few exist and they generally go for absolutely absurd amounts.
It is significantly cheaper to get
200ee club ~6-10k
10 ML armor ~2-3k
10 ML charm ~2-3k

pretty sure there's a ~110 ee dagger with 10 ML which has sold for 50k+ a few times.
I don't really see any return on that investment until you resell.

4 Corners is an objective. You have to complete other objectives for it to appear AS an objective... so this means people will join groups to clear objectives and then leave and just Death farm solo.

I don't, and have never Death Farmed, so you can ignore my post.

You need to find a "sweet-spot" for kill speed and magic luck that fits your play style.

For some players;

#1 I want to kill off a normal monster within 12 actions (1-12) and an Evil Presence within 20-30 actions while having a minimum of 10% Magic Luck.
#2 I don't mind killing off a normal monster within 20-30 actions and an Evil Presence within 40-60 actions while having a minimum of 20% Magic Luck
Note: I may have exaggerated the numbers, but you can see where their can be a "Sweet-spot" ... also... you can either have more kills in the same amount of time while having the SAME % chance of an OVERSPAWN appearing more often even with less Magic Luck.

So you will only need to switch to your EES gear and kill yourself off faster while death farming.

hope this helps you decide... I mean... I use to use a +7 ML focus heal from level 15 to Master Quest for years... found some decent items (overspawn incl) as well.
