When you make a high offer like that and don't hear anything, bumping the topic allows anyone else interested to either outbid or bow out. It also lets the creator of the topic know whether or not he's going to get a higher offer.

I do understand the duplicity in bumping, showing no one else will offer higher and the bm(or not bm depending on how you look at it)

Stok3d, I find it hard to believe you wouldn't have done the same thing, had you been selling an item that a guildmate then wanted.

Get over yourself imo.

funny thing is, if we want items ANYONE in our guild is selling, it doesn't hit threads for THREE days at least to make sure. and after that, it's in thread till the end


we've never had this sort of complication because of that
