And to be honest I would have done pretty much the same, and retracted my offer, if a seller would be have been greedy enough to set a D/L after that type of offer.


except he knew the 72hr DL timer prior to bidding

regardless twink can just make himself correct by bidding 26k and obtaining the item he really wanted in 4 hours, then he wins the item and the "argument"

As a seller I rarely if ever care about my buyers motives. I only care about the Selling Price.

I aware of the running DL, but since seller wont accept the offer, even when 3 other people telling him to take the offer - yet again I cant see why Derecho is not allowed to retract his offer within the timeframe.

It surely seen in other threads, I cant see why this stands out.

Ok, we'll just have to agree to disagree Chris. I posted what I did back in post #16 because I knew this would happen. Sqn was going to give up and then twink would retract because he was bidding out of spite.

I agree there is nothing wrong with legitimate competition amongst guild mates that genuinely want the same item. Let the best man win. But intentionally bidding up anyone, let alone a guild mate, when you don't even want the item is fucked up.

Seemed obvious to me that is what was going on here. My opinion ofc.
