In the end, you need to decide for yourself what you want to do with this charm based on your wants and needs.
There are some good points here:
1. What was stated is true I feel, price checking an item that you are interested in is not a very GM thing to do, as it is nearly impossible to eliminate bias.
2. The charm cannot, in my opinion, be accurately priced. There is no way to guage for certain as there are obviously numerous interested parties and the charm is, as stated, unprecedented.
At this point, the best thing you can do, if you do wish to sell it, is post it up and see what offers come in. If you feel they do not meet your needs or expectations, don't sell it.
