You can drop a white item (wellable) in there and get that item or items with stats back.

Ah. Figured that's what people meant by welling an item it had something to do with that

Throw in a white item. A stronger than normal EP called a well boss will jump out and fight you wearing your item converted to magical+. When you defeat it, you get your upgraded white item back + side drops… more if you are close to the level of the white item. Chance to break the well with each toss, but it’s worth it ;) GL!

Got it one time and disappeared that's my luck haha. Wish I had a item worth putting in there I dropped some bullshit just to see how it works

No worries, you will see lots of wells if you keep exploring catas. I save wellables up and then dump them all in when I find one every few hours or so.

I did not know that you get more items if you are close to the level of the white item... that's interesting.

I think it’d be cool to reroll magical+ items with a high probability of poofing
