How does easy mode compared to hard mode affect prof gains?

Can somebody pls elaborate to me so I understand.

the only dissavantage from easy to normal mode will be in the different amount of eps.
on normal mode you will find a max of 3 eps which give more profs than normal monsters..
on easy mode you will only get 1 ep which will result in less total eps and less total profs.. but the difference shouldnt be too big

1-10 max per Wave of monsters (encounter before engaging for next encounter)

So basically if you want 10 max prof gain per wave encounter, you are better off with easy mode off.

There are a ton of subtle things that increase or decrease prof gain... but if you want to be in group runs, the option is to just click a ton and use Multi this N that.
