can see i got luckier with key 6 with a 33% chance of opening a door, but it was generally just random.

It is random.

I have had 8+ characters leveled up to Master Quest and always choose #2 Key first... on occasions I will pass like 5 times, however, other occasions I fail all 8+ on the first key selection.

Just stick to one key order, eventually you will pass.

On an end note... since an update of having only 2 keys for feeder classes, I actually fucking hate that update, I prefer the 3 key selection from the old times compared to now.

Previous dice rolls have no influence on future dice rolls.



The same is true for any strategy selecting the keys. Using the same combination does not offer you a higher probability of long term success over randomly selecting keys.
