new to transmuting and curious whats considered good luck and bad for the typical number of mute tries before one can expect to roll a keeper. Know multiple things affect it (ie. magic luck, events, tier and prefix of item being rolled) but whats your averages or guess?

Has anyone looked into this and calculated it out and figured what the odds are?

my recent roll history...
lvl 30 magic item 100-200x... while wearing 23ml and with event +2.56% Magic Luck Effectiveness/+23.76% Item Stat Quality. best roll so far 54ee
lvl 30 magic item ~300x... while wearing 23ml and with event +4.71% Magic Luck Effectiveness/+40.98% Item Stat Quality. best roll 47ee or 7mana regen

Missed an option on your list.

There's just so much RNG. As you mentioned.. the bonuses from the event, the tier of the item you're rolling, the rarity of essence, whether you wear ML and how much. There's so many factors that go into it lol. You could roll thousands of essences and take a loss, or you could hit something great on your first roll and profit or break even.

In the same fashion, you could join a catacombs and kill 1 monster and find an amazing item, or you could kill millions and find garbage.

The only advantage to essence rolling is being able to choose the base type of your item.. other than that, it's still in RNjaGuar's hands he loves to troll you with perfect stat weapons, or ee nonpadded robes. Anyway, voted banana!
